Aio Media: Bringing the PGF Marae Renovations to Life with Expert Documentary Production

Aio Media, a Rotorua based Māori-owned production company, is proud to showcase our work on the one-hour documentary covering the PGF Marae renovation projects in Ruatoki and Ruatahuna, NZ. This compelling documentary, capturing the transformative journey of these vital Marae, was made possible through Provincial Growth Fund support, revitalising spaces that are crucial to the community.

The documentary featured the insightful interviewing skills of Tamati Waaka, with Jessica McMillan serving as both producer and field director. Our talented team included Ben Marr as Director of Photography (DOP) and camera operator, Max Yeagr as additional camera operator, Kimoro Taiepa for subtitles, and sound mastering by Sam Eriwata. Special assistance and unwavering support was provided by Celia Solomon and Asher Nikora. The production expertise shone through in every aspect of this project which resulted in a beautiful documentary that will be treasured for generations to come.
